Reverse Transfer
The Massachusetts Department of Higher Education has implemented a new statewide transfer program called Reverse Transfer. The program is designed for students who are currently enrolled at À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ State or any of the other state universities or UMass campuses. Qualified students have enrolled at À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ as transfer students with at least 30 college-level credits previously earned at a Massachusetts community college, but without earning the associate degree. Reverse Transfer allows students who meet all program eligibility criteria to complete the unfinished associate degree while working toward completion of the bachelor’s degree at À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ.
Reverse Transfer eligibility is determined by the prior community college from which the student transferred. Once deemed eligible, À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ State will share all necessary information with the community college that will monitor progress toward the awarding of the associates degree.
Questions about the program should be directed to transfer office at the community college from which the student transferred. The process starts with submitting the Reverse Transfer Application by clicking the link below.
