A Message from the Dean of Students

Maggie Balch, Dean of Students,

College is time of growth and discovery. If you look around our community, you will see learning takes place everywhere: classrooms, studios, labs, residence halls, the student center and the dining facilities. As your Dean of Students, I, and my team, are interested and invested in you. We are focused on your co-curricular experiences—the growth and self-discovery that happens outside of traditional class time. We are here to be resources, advocates and strive to create a strong sense of belonging and community for all University members.

As a Student Affairs team we are dedicated to ensuring the University is a safe, vibrant and inclusive community where principles of citizenship, self-advocacy and self-actualization are at the core of every student’s experience.

During your time at À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ, you will work with outstanding faculty who will push you to new intellectual levels, expose you to different ways of thinking and will cognitively prepare you for your first career. I hope you will engage in all the wonderful opportunities À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ has to offer. Please contact me at 413-572-5421 if you have questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Maggie Balch, Dean of Students
