Center for Teacher Education and Research

Welcome to the Center for Teacher Education and Research!

The CENTER is a registered Institution of Higher Education Professional Development provider with the Massachusetts Department of Education. Therefore, the CENTER’s professional development offerings meet the guidelines established by the state department of education and are aligned with the Massachusetts Standards for Professional Development.

The professional development offerings include: summer institutes, conferences, workshops, and courses. The workshops and courses may be face to face, hybrid, and/or online. Each professional development offering provides PDPs and some offerings also offer graduate credit for successful completion of requirements.

Grants

The CENTER facilitates grant proposals between À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ and public school districts, community colleges and universities, collaboratives, and professional organizations.

Partnerships and Collaborations

The CENTER works to develop collaborations and partnerships between À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ and public school districts, community colleges and universities, collaboratives, and professional organizations in order to provide high quality professional development and graduate credits for teachers and administrators.

CES Collaborative for Educational Services, Chicopee Public Schools, Deerfield Teachers' Academy, East Longmeadow Public Schools, Generation Citizenship, Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School District, Longmeadow Public Schools, Lower Pioneer Valley Educational Collaborative, Ludlow Public Schools Massachusetts Association of 766 Approved Private Schools, Massachusetts Bio Technology Council, Massachusetts Foreign Language Association, Massachusetts Teachers Association, Math Recovery, Norman B. Leventhal Map and Education Center, Ribas Associates, Southwick-Tolland-Granville Regional School District, West Springfield Public Schools À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Public Schools, and Westford Public Schools.
