‘Give a Hoot’ Fundraising Effort Benefits Student Experience

This March 27-28, À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ State will celebrate its annual Give a Hoot giving days. For two days, the University will be reaching out to alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and friends  to raise funds to enhance the student experience by supporting various areas of university life such as scholarships, emergency funds, our Owl athletics teams, and more.

On March 28 respectively, a Notecard-a-Thon will be held in the Student Government Association Conference Room in the Ely Campus Center building. From 8:00 a.m. — 8:00 p.m., students will be making hand-written notes to alumni to ask them for their support of the campus, such as seen in the implementation of last year's new Investment and Data Analytics Lab. This lab in the newly refurbished Parenzo Hall provides a more interactive and hands-on experience for students studying business, economics, finance, and adjacent fields of study.

As the University also celebrates its 185th year of success and education, Give a Hoot and the Notecard-a-Thon serve as a reminder to invest in excellence by fostering the growth and development of its campus body.

Whether donators are regular supporters or first-time givers, Give a Hoot exemplifies the need for a strong, healthy community, so please consider giving this year!
